Some good news for you! Hatua Likoni Library is on the innovation path as we endeavor to improve our services for better user satisfaction. For the last 6 years since inauguration, we have consistently strived to ensure a dazzling user experience. Our Library is open 7 days a week to cater for the diversity and needs of our users with support for education at the core.
Recently, we have revamped and introduced unique services with thinking of our young users in mind. Right now, we boast of 25 E-books, thanks to the Kenya National Library services for making this happen. These E-Readers brings an addition of 200+ curriculum books on primary and secondary levels of education.
As for the College and University Students, we have heard your calls. We have set up a Research Desk so that your research experience becomes a smooth ride. What we look forward is for you to produce solid researches that will solve world problems. Many thanks to Overdrive Consultants (K) Limited for donating a brand new HP computer to serve your needs.

To the community, you are not left out! We have lots of fictional books that you can sharpen your minds with, not forgetting the daily local newspapers to keep you updated. Feel free to walk into our library and you will be sure to get out wiser.
Soon we are unveiling coding classes for the youth in the community. As you know, today’s world is dependent on technology. It is our joy to be part of this innovative way of life and contributing positively towards a brighter future through technology.
Another aspect of our Library Model that we are delighted to tell you is the Satellite Libraries for schools. We have set up five satellite libraries in public primary schools in Likoni in the spirit of decentralizing library services. As we plan to expand, our model will act as a network (Central Library and Satellite Libraries) to accelerate access to information to marginalized areas where we shall replicate.
After successfully implementing a unique library model in Likoni, we are convinced about the impact it is creating in the community. Soon, we shall be expanding our wings to Mvita. Being a hub for access to educative resources and support for Hatua Likoni programs, our Library is setting the pace for community Libraries.
