For Hatua, a new year begins in October. So,
on 30th September all staff met to present what they had achieved, failed and challenges they faced throughout 2013.
Each staff was asked to give a 20 minute PowerPoint presentation in front of the team, and 20 minutes were allotted for other members to ask questions or give suggestions. Hatua’s Directors congratulated the staff for another successful year and urged them to work harder and improve the areas that they felt they had not done well. “Each one of us knows where we did not achieve. We should use these lessons to help us meet all our goals in 2014” said Hatua Director, Gabrielle Fondiller.
“Don’t let your past intimidate your future,” Said Peter Kwame, Hatua’s Program Director as he encouraged the staff not to let their past short comings affect the new year.
As Hatua’s new year begins, we thank all those who helped us to achieve our goals and made it possible for us to have a marvelous year. Bravo to all our well wishers and keep up the same spirit.
