The Global Charity Fund and Hatua Likoni came together to host the Global party at Florida 2000 in Nairobi. The Global Charity Fund organized more than 360 parties in more than 120 cities across the Globe to raise funds for charities.
The party took
place on 29th June. The party featured entertainment by the Gogo simo band, Sarakasi dancers and Susan Owiyo. The DJ on the decks was none other than DJ Delph, and the event MC was Big Ted and Ben Kitili from Nation Media group.
In
attendance were Hatua staff, Hatua Scholarship beneficiaries and top business and entertainment personalities.
Hatua Likoni was very honoured by all those who attended the party. “The network we created helps us achieve our goals for sustainability. We hope to foster and strengthen the partnerships created during the party with all individuals and organizations who showed interest in the work we do in our community.” Said Hatua Likoni’s Co-Director, Peter Kwame.
We appreciate all pledges and support that we received from the party. To KBC television, thank you for covering the event.
