Hatua is recruiting 4 Library Fellows for a period of 1 year!
This is a paid opportunity open to form 4 or Diploma graduates who will join our library team and make the best of themselves while serving the community.
One fellow will be based in one of our Mvita satellite libraries while the other 3 will be based in our Likoni satellite libraries. The three positions are earmarked for residents of Likoni and one for Mvita residents.
The fellows will be in charge of closely working with the school for routine library operations. The fellows will perform all but not limited to the duties listed below.
- He/she will report directly to the Library Assistant in Mvita and to the Resource center coordinator in Likoni.
- He/She will be charged with managing cordial relations between the school and Hatua Network
- He/she will be responsible for ensuring the library is clean and well organized at all times.
- He/She will conduct all the library programs as instructed by the librarian
- He/She will take all the library tracking statistics as stipulated by the librarian.
- The Likoni library fellows will ensure children are fed 500 cups of fortified porridge once a week.
